Building Together

Dawid
Software Engineer at Upside
I joined Upside as an intern and right from the start, I had the chance to jump into a promising project that perfectly matched my preferred technologies and where I could contribute a lot from day one. Throughout the internship, I was surrounded by incredibly talented and experienced teammates who helped me learn good coding practices, new technologies, and what it means to write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.Upside also gives you time and resources for self-development, encourages knowledge-sharing, and provides constant feedback. Another huge advantage for me was the flexible schedule and understanding attitude toward my studies - it really helped during my internship when I was in my third year at university with a busy academic workload. What makes Upside truly special is the team - the phrase “family atmosphere” is absolutely real here. We care about it every day, and it makes work not only easier but genuinely enjoyable. A perfect example of that is how one of my teammates has been actively supporting and guiding me as I explore a new area of software development related to AI. During my internship at Upside, I could always ask questions about anything - and every single person was ready to help with a smile and genuine support. It was an incredibly productive period where I significantly improved my skills as a software developer, which led Upside to trust me enough to continue our collaboration after the internship.Upside is a fantastic place to grow and learn. If I had to choose again, I’d make the same decision without hesitation.

Mateusz
Software Engineer at Upside
Internship at Upside was my first commercial experience in the field of Software Engineering. Here I got hands-on experience at developing eCommerce applications, working with different clients on different projects. I feel I made a huge improvement in my software development skills thanks to working with fantastic and talented people, whose constant feedback and help paved the way for my progress. After my 4 months internship, I got the opportunity to prolong my contract and to continue growing my skills. My main focus was backend development, but Upside is a place for frontend and full-stack developers too. With room for self-development, flexible working hours (definitely helpful if you are a student), collaboration with amazing people and working on interesting projects, I can surely recommend Upside as a place to kick-start your IT career.
