Lightning-fast Vue Storefront for an omnichannel headless Spree Commerce backend

Krakow/Warsaw/Berlin, 4th October 2021, In close cooperation with Spree Commerce and Vue Storefront, Upside is happy to announce the release of the Spree - Vue Storefront 2 integration.

Spree Commerce is a headless, omnichannel eCommerce backend engine complete with functionality for any eCommerce business or use case. With over 4000 installations globally it is being used by brands such as GoDaddy, Martha Stewart & Marley Spoon, Goop, Everlane, Blue Bottle Coffee, Huckberry, and the New England Patriots, among others.

The Spree - Vue Storefront 2 connector provides reusable components for building Vue Storefront-based frontends that connect to Spree on the backend. It also comes with a default theme that allows developers to quickly start their implementation of e-commerce storefronts. The integration is currently in the Beta phase. The goal is to deliver a version 1.0 at the beginning of Q4, 2021.

This new integration is a great starting point for delivering stylish, smooth UX for any popular use case, both B2C or D2C, from single-brand stores to multi-vendor marketplaces.
